Pokljuka is a karst plateau situated at the heart of Triglav National Park, surrounded by green pastures and large forest areas. Sitting at an elevation above 1100 m, it is a popular destination for winter and summer outdoor activities, and a suitable spot for exploring the surrounding alpine peaks. It also hosts a yearly Biathlon World Cup competition.
Pokljuka is located a mere 18 km from the popular tourist town of Bled and approximately 55 km from Ljubljana Airport, which has direct connections to a handful of major European cities.
The workshop will be hosted in Hotel Šport Pokljuka, which will be providing an all-inclusive package, including accommodation and meals. The hotel features an outdoor terrace suitable for a barbecue. The conference dinner will be organized in a nearby local restaurant. nearby.
