The workshop

The workshop will be held between 3 – 8 July, 2022, in Pokljuka, Slovenia.

Note: We have not yet fully filled the capacities and current there is still available accommodation for the non-invited participants. If you wish to attend  the event, please inquire with the organizers.

There has been a recent surge of interest in the study of low-dimensional phenomena in complex dynamical systems of many interacting particles, spreading throughout several fields of theoretical research, including statistical, condensed matter and mathematical physics. Theoretical advancements have been accompanied and inspired by numerous exciting experimental breakthroughs.

Simple analytically tractable models have not only brought numerous invaluable insights into the underlying microscopic mechanisms but also played a key role in explaining various anomalous transport properties or non-ergodic dynamical systems. Exactly solvable quantum circuits are also helpful for explaining several prominent features of chaotic dynamics.

The main focus of the workshop will be on exactly solvable systems of interacting particles in the domain of (quantum and classical) integrability and chaotic dynamics, comprising both deterministic (conservative) and stochastic (dissipative) dynamical many-body systems.

The aim of the workshop is to galvanize fruitful discussions and stimulate collaborations. We plan at most six scheduled talks per day to permit enough time for informal discussions.

The workshop is organized by the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics.

Organising committee:

Enej Ilievski (University of Ljubljana)
